Himalayan Care Foundation

Himalaya Care Foundation

The Himalayan Care Foundation (HCF) is doing a great job in supporting children and families in underdeveloped regions of the Himalayas. By working closely with various stakeholders such as organizations, authorities or professionals in the fields of education and health, the association aims to create long-term change for the benefit of the people living there. To this end, HCF implements social and medical projects as well as preventive aid projects, which include a basic supply of drinking water and sanitary facilities for village schools. DIA supports the Leun-based association and its important work since 2022.

Menschen für Kinder e.V.

The direct help that "Menschen für Kinder" (People for Children) provides to children in need is of particular concern to DIA. We have been committed to the association since 2014 and, in keeping with our tradition, we have once again dispensed with customer Christmas gifts this year and made a donation to Menschen für Kinder.

The goal of Menschen für Kinder (MfK for short) is to help children in need. The non-profit organization is committed to helping children with long-term illnesses, particularly cancer, and other children in need. Donations are used to support children's clinics and children's oncological practices throughout Germany.

Donations reach the projects without deductions.

We embrace charity

Helping children in need is especially close to our hearts. That’s why we support the charity Menschen für Kinder since 2014. The non-profit supports children with long-term illnesses like cancer by funding pediatric clinics and oncology centers across Germany. Every cent goes directly to the cause with no deductions and maximum transparency.
This project protects virgin forest in two of the world’s most biodiverse regions: the Peruvian Amazon and the Canadian wilderness. The Wilderness International Foundation legally purchases these untouched areas to secure long-term protection with full transparency. Every euro protects one square meter and can be tracked via geo-coordinates. A direct and impactful way to preserve nature.
As a long-standing supporter of the Down-Sportlerfestival – one of Europe’s largest inclusive sports events – we stand behind the power of diversity and shared experience. For us, it’s not just about sports, but about respect, encouragement and connection. The festival celebrates individual strengths, creates moments that matter and shows how inclusion can inspire. We’re proud to be part of this community.
Each year, DIA supports the 'Weihnachtspäckchenkonvoi' – a heartfelt initiative by Round Table Germany that brings joy to children. What began with 50 boxes from our team has grown into over 400 parcels from employees, partners and families. Together, we pack and send gifts to children in remote areas of Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Ukraine – delivered directly to schools, orphanages and hospitals.
Since 2022, we’ve supported the Himalayan Care Foundation, an organization working to improve living conditions in underserved Himalayan regions. Through education, health care and infrastructure projects, HCF provides long-term support to children and families. Their focus lies on direct, sustainable impact from medical outreach to access to drinking water and sanitation for rural village schools.
